Wavemakers United is a finalist in the Valuing Water Pitch A Thon! The competition is organized by The Netherlands National IHP-HWRP Committee, giving youngsters with a #TalentForWater the opportunity to work on a project concerning the Valuing Water Principles. The final round of the Pitch A Thon takes place next week Tuesday 13th of October.
Wavemakers United is a project initiated by Dutch Wavemakers, where a group of enthusiastic students, young professionals and athletes are aiming to create an International Wavemaker Academy for youngsters with a #TalentForWater. The Wavemakers receive a training and become ambassadors within their own communities. The Academy has an original, unique and bottom-up approach, as the content of the Academy is created by the existing Dutch Wavemakers ambassadors, Wetskills Alumni and Young Expert Programmers. With the idea of ‘Tiny drops of action create a wave of impact’ the project aims to Educate to Empower and raise awareness in local communities.
